  • Abstract
    The noise figure of a microwave MESFET mixer has been calculated for the first time. This paper presents the theoretical and experimental results of the noise figure and conversion gain of a microwave MESFET mixer. The effects of the RF circuit at the mixer´s output side and the IF circuit at its input side upon its noise and gain performance are also presented.
