Describes Interlinguae as a concept in historical perspective and with reference to future utilizations. Its prospective uses are in machine translation [MT] and other forms of natural language computing [NLC], in human-machine interaction [Ergonomics], in computer communication networking [CCN], and, more generally, for improving symbol systems access [SSA].<>
