Abstract :
This paper introduces a new kind of auto-tuning controller. In order to get characteristic data for identifying the plant model, this kind of controller uses a method which is called "geometric progression growth recording method". By the method, the redundancy information of the sample data can be minimized, while the size of data memory can be reduced, and the controller can adapt itself to the different response speed of different plants.
