Abstract :
Combining techniques of optical fiber sensing technology and wireless communication, this paper develops a novel wireless sensor node for CO2 sequestration monitoring and gas sensing. This wireless sensor node could be actived by receiving wireless command and detects gas concentration based on spectroscopy absorption technique with C-band diode laser, laser controller, gas cell and photo diode. Experiment sets transceiver physical layer parameter and tests transmitting distance, measures current consumption and working time and analyzes power consumption. This wireless sensor node is an individual system that could detect gas, process data and transmit result automatically, and cooperates with other nodes to organize network.
