Abstract
With the difficult in controlling dead-time and nonlinear system, a new method of fuzzy parameter self-tuning PID control which is based on the combination of evolutionary programming and fuzzy theory is proposed in this paper, it uses evolutionary programming directly to derive fuzzy rule bases of PID parameter tuning. To a certain extent, it overcomes the shortcoming of single fuzzy control and conventional PID. The simulation result of Dead-time and nonlinear systems shows better static and dynamic performance of the new approach than that of conventional PID control.
