  • Abstract
This paper focuses on the self-diagnosis of Smart Grid. With the great advantage of a wide use of the PMU/WAMS of Smart Grid,a method is introduced combining the measurements from the PMU/WAMS with dynamic simulation to trace the location of disturbance so as to eliminate the source and prevent a recurrence.Only by locating the disturbance source ,can Smart Grid fulfill the task of self-diagnosis.A case is taken to show the application and validation of this approach to diagnosing the source of low frequency oscillation with PSSE.
