  • Abstract
    In recent years, the chaos based cryptographic algorithms have suggested new and efficient ways to develop secure image encryption schemes. In the paper,a new image encryption scheme is proposed by analyzing the principle of the chaos encryption algorithm based on logistic map, and the system is in stream-cipher architecture. Moreover, the security and performance of the proposed algorithm has been estimated in detail. The experimental results based on coupled chaotic maps approve the effectiveness of the proposed method, and the coupled chaotic maps shows advantages of large key space and high-level security.In a word, the proposed image encryption scheme provides an efficient and secure way for real-time image encryption and transmission.
