Abstract
In this paper we address the problem azimuth/elevation directions of arrival estimation using a uniform rectangular array URA. A new low computational cost projection approach, based only on a single snapshot is proposed. It consists of two one dimensional (1-D) search Procedures using projection matrices constructed from the rows and the columns of the data matrix, such approach is followed by a pair matching method. Simulations results show that the new method is effective when the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is high.
