Abstract :
The paper is a report on an application of the static point-by-point technique of collecting experimental data from a resonance curve to the determination of the resonance frequency and the Q factor of a microwave resonator. A minicomputer system for measuring the cavity parameters and a new proposed method of data interpretation is described. Examples of experimental results and a computer simulation are presented.
