Based on saturated-unsaturated seepage theory, numerical simulation on seepage field in slopes after penistent rainfall was studied. Then stability of slopes was analyzed considering pore water pressures generated by rain infiltration Factor of safety was computed by Janbu generalized method. The critical slip surface was searched by grid method. Under different conditions, the research results of stability analysis were discussed. The conclusions would provide scientific basis for guarantee of slope stability in highway engineering.
