Abstract :
Traditional Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) moving target detection methods cannot estimate the parameters of non-constant velocity moving targets. To solve the problem, a method of airborne dual-channel SAR moving targets detection is presented based on road assistance and the characteristics of moving target imaging. From the spatial geometry model and echo signal of the dual-channel SAR system, Displaced Phase Center Antenna (DPCA) technique is used firstly to suppress clutter and detect moving targets, then the velocity and location parameters of moving targets are estimated by using road information. Finally, across-track acceleration can be computed based on azimuth defocusing of moving targets. Numerical simulations have demonstrated the effectiveness of the approach proposed.
