Abstract :
Multi-input multi-output (MIMO) wireless communication systems provide large capacity allowing high data rate transmission. However, this huge increase of the capacity requires perfect channel state information at the Receiver (CSIR). We, first, compare different MIMO channel estimation techniques regarding channel estimation performances. Then, we compare the ergodic capacity of the MIMO channel for these different estimation methods.
