Froude number expresses the combined effect of stream channel roughness and overall bend curvature (which slow down water velocity) plus the driving gravitational force that results from stream gradients. Through the research of Froude number at bend transitional shoal in Yangtze River, give a hydraulic condition in distribution of habitate patches.
