Abstract :
We propose a new, low-complexity blind channel estimator, which, in the presence of a guard interval, utilizes redundancy in time domain to completely eliminate inter-symbol-interference. In this work, we extend the idea of the guard interval in conjunction with MMSE equalizer to obtain high performance in the presence of additive channel noise. It is shown that the proposed algorithm is computationally more efficient than existing systems and is considered as a powerful tool for receiver diversity.
