Abstract
This paper presents a system of remote, real-time and on-line monitoring method of the power equipment´s infrared/visible image. Based on this system and infrared theory, a corresponding infrared radiation (IR) temperature measurement is proposed. The modified method to raise the measurement precision has been put forward, including the revision of affects of emissivity, ambient temperature and atmospheric transmittivity. This system realizes the integration of infrared cameras, visible cameras, video servers and Pan& Tilt (PTZ) controlling, which has high economic benefit and engineering values.
