Abstract :
Dimensional error often appears nonlinearly in Multi axis CNC machining process. This paper analyzes the dimensional error variation for CNC grinding in detail, and introduces a new intelligent error pre-compensation algorithm to constitute intelligent error pre-compensation system. The simulation results of the intelligent error compensation system show the recovery is very fast, for either step or pulse disturbance type, and the machining precision will be well satisfied.
