Introduction to the Computer Aided Design of Microwave Circuits

In this tutorial paper, a general introduction is given to the topic of designing microwave circuits by digital computer. Common aspects in CAD of other electronic circuits, and indeed many other systems are discussed, while problems and possibilities that are typical for the microwave area are indicated. Minimal requirements for hardware and software are outlined.
