Abstract :
Summary form only given. Traditional software metrics are inapplicable to software architectures, because they require information that is not available at the architectural level, and reflect attributes that are not meaningful at this level. We briefly present architecture-relevant quality attributes, then we introduce architecture-enabled quantitative functions, and run an experiment which shows how and to what extent the latter are correlated to (hence can be used to predict) the former.
