  • Abstract
    This paper proposes a method of combining gradient and grayscale to detect drosophila and differentiate their courtship behavior so as to solve the problem of hard differentiation of drosophila with ting body and translucent wings: First, to design a dynamic background recovery method with pixel as the replacement unit, to pick up drosophila´s bodies through grayscale method, and to pick up drosophila´s wings by imported gradient algorithm. Then, to design an algorithm, and differentiate the drosophila´s courtship behavior. Finally, to design a system based on VC++6.0 and Opencv. The result of the research indicates that the combination method, compared with the traditional ones, has high accuracy, low missing detection and low mistaken detection.
