Abstract
The report discusses adaptation algorithms to minimize the three goal functions each of them reflects more or less adequately the requirements imposed on communication or navigation systems. The properties of adaptive antennas in settling states and their block diagrams are discussed. The special coefficient called the coefficient of adaptation efficiency is introduced to compare the different versions of adaptive antennas. It is the ratio of the areas (or volumes) of the working area after adaptation and without it. We present stochastic characteristics of the adaptation efficiency that was obtained in the simulation of a large number of random interferers´ situations.
