Abstract :
This paper shows a technique of electronic control by the load for micropower plants which adapts itself to several alternative sources of energy. As a part of this study, it is shown how each of these primary sources (water, wind, diesel and solar) may be run at their own frequencies to feed a common DC busbar. The electrical variables observed and of more interest are the DC busbar voltage, current and power. Also, the generator´s power and rotation presented some practical interest as the power plant efficiency and capabilities are closely related to them. Some difficulties were detected for further improving voltage regulation as it does not change much from the induction generator´s own characteristics
