Abstract :
Computer models for MMIC interdigitated capacitors and rectangular spiral inductors are described. The theory of the interdigitated capacitor considers the influence of the metallization thickness, the end effects of the fingers, the exact position of the fingers on the main line and of the T-junctions in the capacitor. The theory of the rectangular spiral inductor is based on a line theory and considers the influence of the metallization thickness and the rectangular line bends.
