Abstract :
A beamspace root modification of pseudorandom joint estimation strategy (PR-JES) with using of the outlier identification and cure technique is presented. This technique allows identifying and rectifying the outliers that can arise in the direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation by eigenstructure methods. It improves the performance of beamspace root estimator bank in the threshold region of signal-to-noise ratio.
