Abstract :
Cognitive radio networks with transmission rate selection is analyzed using queueing model framework. Transmission rate varies with the average fade duration of Nakagami-m fading and Doppler frequency shift. The proposed analytical model significantly simplifies the performance analysis by iso-lating the channel states and queueing status, or primary and secondary user states unlike conventional cognitive radio network models.
