Abstract
In order to improve the power density of switching power supply, reduce the EMI and conduction losses of the power switching device, a half-bridge LLC resonant converter based on PLC810PG is introduced. Its series resonant network consists of resonant capacitor and resonant inductor and magnetic excited inductor, which makes its switches in the primary side work in zero voltage switching (ZVS) mode, and the rectifier diodes in the secondary side work in zero current switching (ZCS) mode. As a result, both the switching losses and reverse recovery losses of rectifier diodes decrease, and effectively improve the converter efficiency.
