Abstract :
Summary form only given. The enormous growth in the number of documents circulated over the Web increases the need for improved Web data management systems. Web data access and Web searching are the main processes in Web data management systems. In order to evaluate the performance of such systems, various simulation approaches must be used. We survey the most recent approaches for Web data representation, Web data access as well as for Web search engines.
