Abstract :
In this paper, a new watermarking algorithm is proposed based on LWT2(2-D Lifting wavelet transform) and a 16 × 16 Sudoku. LWT2 produces coefficient sub-bands and the coefficient sub-bands´ values are in integer form and coefficient values pair instead of pixel pair was used. The concept of Sudoku was adopted in the proposed method, which aims to increase embedding capacity. Experimental results showed that the proposed method has larger hiding capacity and better watermarked-image quality, the embedding capacity is 2 bit per pixel, which is greater than the related work. Because of 2-D Lifting wavelet transform, it is also a low computation cost data embedding method.
