Abstract
The mathematical simulation for the structure which includes circular microstrip patch and radial two-way short-circuit slot realized with the help of finite element method. The spectral characteristics and current distribution on disk and energy characteristic were investigated. The sizes of structure were optimized and the possibility of matching such radiating structure in frequency domains was shown. Carried out experiments confirms, that microstrip disk antenna with single radial two-way short-circuit slot discontinuity have advantages like low level of VSWR, possibility of controlling of radiating power.
