Abstract :
With the rapid development of information industry and the improvement of information security requirements, the research on the technology of hard disk destruction device becomes more and more important. In view of the shortcomings of current destruction technology: poor safety, high cost, heavy pollution and so on, a new method for hard disk destruction based on microwave technology was put forward. The principle of the microwave heating system, the temperature testing and controlling system were researched, then through a lot of experiments and debugging, the convenient and high-efficiency hard disk destruction device was developed successfully. Meanwhile, field experimentation has shown that the device performed accurately and practically. This research opened up a new way of applying the microwave technology into a brand new field.
