Abstract
This paper describes the synthesis and realization of a 12-GHz microwave filter which combines the properties of excellent frequency selectivity with a rounded in-band response and flat group delay. The filter is particularly suitable for use as a receive filter in a regenerative transponder where matched response to a PSK-modulated carrier is necessary to minimize bit error degradation.
