Abstract :
The paper analyzes the present state of marketing research market in Russia for the purpose of not only determining the role of developing marketing research in the country, but also the prospects of future development. The analysis included study of common research methods and data collection methodologies, average turnovers of industry, composition of ranking of leaders-companies, brief review of their activity, problems, main business trends and future forecasts.
