Abstract :
The authors investigate multicarrier demodulators based on digital signal processing. They show that symbol clock coordination of the transmitting stations reduced the complexity of digital demodulators. They consider multicarrier time-division multiple-access (TDMA) operation, in which very short bursts with virtually no preambles are transmitted. It is also shown that clock coordination also offers the possibility of multifrequency TDMA operation, with short bursts (e.g. 15 symbols) and virtually no preamble. This node of operation requires sufficient carrier stability.<>
