Abstract
In this article the role of counseling for undergraduate students is considered. It is concluded that the counseling represents a peculiar socio-cultural environment whose specific feature is to form a dialogue with the inner world of a student, which, in this case, makes the processes of understanding and resolving the inner contradictions more active.
