Abstract :
Original construction of the amorphous core means that only a small part of a total magnetomotive force produced by measured current is compensated by compensating current. The number of turns of a compensative coil is significantly reduced and inductance of the circuit is also decreased. New core construction also yields simplification of the system, in which measured current conductor passes through centre hole of the measuring device. Basic mathematical description of the circuit and results of computer simulations of a field in magnetic circuit are given and discussed. Experimental results of the new type of current measuring system investigation, i.e. I/O characteristic and dynamic abilities are also presented
