Abstract :
A hybrid active switchable combiner featuring exceptional integration characteristics and easely transferable to MMIC technology has been developed in the 1 to 7 GHz band. This component presents very attractive properties for front panel receivers such as : 16 dB typical gain, 40 dB isolation and intrinsic switching time better than 1 ns, using up to 10 FETs in a 1,8 cm2 coplanar area.
