Abstract :
An new approach to determine the margin of voltage stability region in power injection space (SVSR) for power system with wind farms is presented. The SVSR boundary is described by a set of hyper-planes, whose number and tangent point are determined by clustering method. The presented approach is validated by several power system. It can be revealed that the approach can be used for power system voltage stability analysis and on-line security assessment.
