Abstract :
In this paper we describe the method to solve rigorously Maxwell equations and to analyse numerically dispersion characteristics and electromagnetic field distribution of main and higher modes of open and screened regular waveguide structures in d. c. longitudinal magnetizing field. Waveguide structure may have cross-section of any intricate shape and gyrotropic filling. We´ve numerically analyzed electrodynamic characteristics of the first four modes of the open ferrite image guide as function of its width, ferrite saturation magnetization, signal frequency and d. c. magnetizing field.
