Abstract :
The LLC Half-bridge LED driver outputs at a wide range of input with heavy load, while the switching frequency changing small. And it uses the leakage inductance of the converter, making the leakage inductance and the magnetizing inductance in unique converter, so as to reduce the volume. This paper introduces the operating principle and method of LLC LED driver, and it designs a LED driver based on the chip NCP1396. This device can improve the efficiency and the power factor of the LED driver.
