Abstract :
Road network reliability is fast developed as a new technology to evaluate transportation network; it is important to ease the traffic pressure. Many scholars try to find new methods to fit the reality of road network. In this paper, a new method is proposed, which evaluates road network reliability based on urban resident travel behavior characteristics modeling. Based on GIS (Geographic Information System) traffic analysis method, and employed FCD (floating car data) of taxi GPS in Shenzhen city as survey sample, resident travel behavior characteristics are modeled, then DNC (dynamic nonlinear coefficient) loaded with traffic flow can also be calculated, it is an improvement to evaluate road network reliability relative to traditional method.
