Abstract :
Wavefront reconstruction such as holography is an ideal method for three-dimensional display. According to the development of spatial light modulator, quality of reconstructed three-dimensional object is improved. However, there are many problems to be solved for commercially available product. In wide viewing zone, it is required to use high power light source. But the limited power to avoid the damage in spatial light modulator should be illuminated. In this paper, we propose the coherent amplification of three-dimensional object by a polymer dye after the modulation of spatial light modulator. In the experiment, we use a polymer with Rohdamine 6G as a coherent amplifier. Two character images are reconstructed experimentally at different propagation distances. The amplification is achieved at 15 times with a thickness of 8 mm in end pump configuration. We also present numerical evaluation of reconstructed beam in different displayed distributions on spatial light modulator.
