  • Abstract
Driven by the Yellow River Mouth´s management department daily affairs, this paper summarized their management affairs, designed the system overall framework and introduced 3S integration solutions, key techniques of the analysis of shoreline (river channel swinging, coastline flushing and isobath automatic generation). The analysis of the Yellow River Mouth´s changing erosion/deposition and the map/line graph´s interaction with forms and visualization were discussed in detail. Finally, the highlight part of the paper focused on the specific functional modules´ division of the Management Information System of the Yellow River Mouth based on 3S and main affair modules´ function declaration. This research achieved the first management information system of the Yellow River Mouth management departments based on 3S integrated technology. The Information Management System of the Yellow River Mouth based on 3S is in good working condition, and is helpful for the constructing of the digital estuary and digital Yellow River as well.
