Abstract :
Microstrip antennas in a wire grid configuration are investigated. To this end, the current distribution along printed wire antennas can be computed by means of Sommerfeld type integrals, requiring particular analytical and numerical treatment on account of surface wave modes. The results are then generalized to microstrip antennas and compared with those obtained via a time domain analysis.
