  • Abstract
    The Led applied in traffic indicators has several years which replaced the bulb inside the traditional traffic indicators. Presently, the multi-color led has well developed that resulted in a novel device The Single Traffic Indicator/lantern. It is a traffic lantern with single screen which is capable of displaying different traffic lights (red, green and amber). The traffic authority of Taiwan or China has their own concept and design which had been applied on the road/ street. Each of them was the first generation of single traffic indicator. Therefore, they are not perfect devices. This paper will discuss their weaknesses, and propose a better solution All-in-One Traffic Indicator; based on aspects of road safety, energy saving and environment protection.
