  • Abstract
    Color image is the individual´s psychological feeling produced by an immediate impression, visual perception as well as visual experience. Since different colors bring different feelings and cultural experiences, this research solves the problem about how the tourist maps load bearing the images of the tourist places by introducing the visual images system into the color schemes of tourist maps. The paper firstly talks about the current international hot spots of map-research, and emphasizes the effects about map-visualization to the study of tourist map, then indicates the shocks and opportunities to the tourist maps given by the present design concepts of industrial productions. On the basis of analyzing the research present situation of tourist map-visualization, it explains the content of emotion-oriented tourist maps, thereby introducing the existing research results of color images into the study and manufacture of tourist maps. Through further studying on the color images, this research develops the tourist map color schemes prototype system based on the semantic color images, with the hope that it can supplement the existing tourist map color schemes and system.
