  • Abstract
A full sized wheelchair can be too large to move around the house, especially in tight places such as the kitchen. Wheelchairs may also be too low from which to reach objects on shelves and in cabinets. The Motorized Chair is a converted drafting chair that allows the user to move more easily than in a wheelchair and to change the set height. The Motorized Chair is battery powered and is controlled by a joystick interface
