  • Abstract
Double arch tunnel is widely applied with the increase of road construction. The stability analysis of rock and support structure is key factor for design and construction. A 3D FEM model is setup according to geometry and mechanics parameters of a real double arch tunnel. The construction process based on middle guiding tunnel is simulated. The stress and strain of rock and support are gotten with the process of construction. The change rule of vertical stress is presented.
