Discussion on the classification and processing mode of municipal solid waste

This paper summarizes present status of municipal solid waste (hereinafter referred to as MSW) through literature review, takes in-depth analysis on the classification of MSW in different countries and regions, and explores influencing factors of MSW classification methods. Based on above, this paper makes pointed recommendations on the processing technical route and management during implementation of MSW, to achieve the waste reduction and resource processing at present stage.
