Abstract
An introduction to inter-system signal interference for satellite communications is given. Particular parameters are highlighted. Spectral analysis for F.M. video spectra is outlined. Influence of climatic conditions and the statistical approach used is explained. Spacial considerations are also investigated. The modelling procedure is illustrated by examples highlighting the effects of parameters on the interference levels.
