Abstract
This paper focuses on the development of a real-time machine vision system that is used for the application of medical imaging. We consider in detail not only the design and cost of hardware features like the processor and the network, but also the usability of the system: its performance, flexibilities, real-time processing, and the ease of programming applications. We give details of the system architecture, software structure and functionalities based on state-of-art technologies. We also provide an application example
