Abstract :
This paper investigates the performance of a cognitive radio network based on outage probability. Here the outage probability depends on the interference from primary users. We develop a simulation test bed to evaluate performance of a cognitive radio (CR) user in faded and non-faded environments. We assume that CR users are using the spectrum that is licensed for the primary users in a cellular network.
